Barbecue of halal meat is the largest in the world

The largest barbecue in the world is 180 meters in length, which entered theGuinness Book of Records, was cooked during “Kazan Fair” in Tatarstan in 2013. 

To marinate 200 kg of meat, the chef had to start work almost a day before the ignition of a giant barbecue. In this case, the whole process of cooking has been spent 500 kg of coal. A total of 200 chefs and volunteers were engaged in cooking. 

A distinctive feature of the culinaryachievement in Tatarstan was the fact that it was used exclusively halal meat of the corresponding norms of Islam.
